This Annapolis bathroom renovation turned an outdated layout into a modern, spa-like retreat. The original space had a large corner jacuzzi tub, a small linen closet, and a tight shower that limited everyday use. To improve both flow and function, we redesigned the entire footprint and created a cleaner, more open layout.

Removing the Tub and Opening the Space

First, we removed the oversized jacuzzi tub that took up most of the room. This change immediately opened the space and allowed us to introduce a freestanding soaking tub as the new focal point. In addition, we removed the closet beside the tub to create better balance and improve movement through the room.

Relocating the Toilet and Building a New Shower

Next, we relocated the toilet to increase privacy and make better use of the available square footage. This change also created space for a brand-new shower design. Instead of keeping the small, original shower, we built a larger walk-in shower in a new location. The minimal curb and clean lines give the shower a sleek, modern look while also improving everyday comfort.

Updated Finishes and a Bright, Fresh Style

Throughout the renovation, we added fresh wainscoting, upgraded trim, and modern tile to create a cohesive design. Large windows now bring natural light into the room, which highlights the bright white palette and new finishes. Premium fixtures and updated lighting complete the transformation, resulting in a calm and inviting space.
